Job summary

Earlylearningleaders in Peoria, IL is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years at AppleTree Academy. The role runs 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a warm, collaborative environment.

You will support learning centers, arts and crafts, story-time, outdoor play, and communication with parents and teammates. Previous child-care experience is valued, with CDA or ECE coursework considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young children preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related experience a plus.
• Energetic, reliable, and loving approach to child care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old in daily activities.
• Assist with learning centers, arts & crafts, story-time, and outdoor play.
• Support a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
• Communicate with parents and team members as needed.
