Job summary

Be GREAT Academy seeks a part-time Program Specialist to plan, implement, and supervise after-school activities at Forts Pond Elementary School. The role emphasizes safety, program quality, and positive youth development, with bi-lingual English/Spanish skills as a plus.

Typical hours are Monday-Thursday, 2 pm–6 pm, up to four hours per day, with salary at $15.50 per hour. Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED or higher and 6 months to 2 years of program delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, parents, and community partners.
• Knowledge of youth development and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote Core Values.
• Implement Curriculum.
• Plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise programs and activities.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Design displays and bulletin boards promoting program areas.
• Assist in the execution of national projects and exhibits.
• Mentor and inspire youth, adults and volunteers in the creative process.
• Keep records of participants, schedules, attendance and program results.
• Mandatory First Aid/CPR.
• Other duties as assigned.
