Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; education in child development is a plus.
• Experience with children in educational or caregiving settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to relate to families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during latchkey hours before and after school.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules to maintain a respectful environment.
• Assist students with homework and schoolwork as needed.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding behavior and issues.
• Manage conflicts calmly and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the latchkey space.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned
