Job summary

Sittercity.com in California is seeking a reliable caregiver to pick up and supervise two children, ages 8 and 11 after school. We’d start with Wednesdays (school ends around 11:20–11:30 AM), then move to Monday–Friday after about a month, with daily pickup by 2:20–2:30 PM and supervision until around 4 PM.

Job description

We're looking for a reliable, caring individual to help with school pickup and supervision for our two children, ages 8 and 11.

We'd like to start with Wednesdays only (school ends around 11:20–11:30 AM), then transition to Monday–Friday after about a month. Regular dismissal is around 2:20–2:30 PM.

We need someone to pick up the kids, bring them home, and stay until either my wife or I return, usually by 4 PM. Some scheduling flexibility is appreciated.

Our youngest is autistic but very independent. We're hoping to ease him into getting comfortable with a new caregiver. Experience with autism is a plus, but patience and reliability are most important.

We'd also love someone open to occasional evening or weekend babysitting for date nights!

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
