The Program for Native American Studies ( https://nas.wvu.edu ) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need include but may not be limited to: Contemporary Native American Issues; Indigenous Culture and History; and Modern Native Nations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person and/or online courses in the Program for Native American Studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Salary is established on a per-course basis.

These positions require a master's or doctoral degree in Native American Studies, Indigenous Studies, American Studies, or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master's degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
