Job summary

Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions in the Department of Media and Journalism. Appointments may be full-time for one semester or part-time for one semester, located at the Bloomsburg campus or other Penn State System sites as needs arise.

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in an appropriate field; Ph.D. and college-level teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Information and technological literacy and Master’s degree in appropriate field are required.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in appropriate field, college level teaching experience, related professional experience and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and/or upper-level courses for the Media Production focus of Media and Journalism.
• Duties may include distance education as needed by the department.
