Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks adjunct faculty on a temporary, per-semester basis to provide effective instruction and assessment across assigned courses. Responsibilities include using Canvas and PowerPoint, creating syllabi, maintaining attendance and grading records, and supporting students outside class time.

Minimum qualifications include master’s degrees or higher with relevant concentrations, ABD status, or 18 graduate hours in related fields, and demonstrated technology proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current instructional technologies.
• ABD (All But Dissertation) or 45 graduate hours can meet requirements in some cases.
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in relevant field for specified courses.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage syllabi aligned to courses.
• Provide instruction and assessment
• Maintain attendance and grading records
• Be available to students outside class time and address concerns
