Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach General Chemistry II Lab at our Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 semester (01/04/2027 - 04/23/2027). Courses are in-person and on-campus, with smaller class sizes and opportunities for tuition benefits for adjunct employees.

Teach and facilitate the CHM-115 lab, engage students with laboratory principles, assess performance, and mentor student success while aligning with GCU’s Christian mission and doctrines.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate in Chemistry.
• Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
