Job summary

Nicolet College invites applications for an experienced cosmetology educator to join our instructional team. You will deliver engaging, learner-centered instruction across cosmetology and related disciplines, in formats including on-campus labs, hybrid courses, and online theory.

You will mentor students to develop technical skills, professionalism, and confidence for successful beauty careers, while staying current with industry practices and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist required.
• Minimum of two years (4,000 hours) of recent occupational experience in cosmetology or related beauty fields.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse learners.
• Commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices.
• Ability to meet Faculty Quality Assurance System (FQAS) requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position may support instruction through a variety of formats, including:

• Face-to-face laboratory and clinic instruction
• Hybrid and online theory instruction

We are particularly interested in professionals with expertise in:

• Hair cutting, styling, coloring, and texture services
• Barbering and men's grooming
• Nail technology and nail artistry
• Skin care and esthetics
• Makeup artistry
• Salon operations and management
• Retailing and customer experience

Preference will be given to candidates who reside within or near Nicolet College's district and who maintain strong connections to the regional beauty industry.
