Bluegrass Community & Technical College, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty member in Additive Technology. Teaching occurs on-site at the Georgetown campus.

The role focuses on in-person instruction, syllabus creation, grading, and reporting to the department of Advancement and Workforce Development. A relevant associate degree and 3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in graphic design, CADD, or a computer related field with 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and college teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in-person Additive Technology courses.
  • Create syllabi and set up assigned courses on the College’s learning management system following college standards.
  • Grade learner’s submissions in a timely manner and provide feedback to learners.
  • Submit course-related reports as requested by the college.
  • Maintain course standards set by the area.
  • Maintain communication with the coordinator of Additive Technology.
  • Complete professional development trainings required of adjunct faculty.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate degree in graphic design, CADD, or a computer related field
Bachelor’s degree in art, architecture, graphic design, industrial design, CADD, animation, video-game design, or related computing field
