Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Tyler, TX is seeking a part-time physician to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient settings. You will prescribe appropriate medicines, document care, and collaborate with a clinical team for holistic treatment.

Applicants must hold MD or DO with Texas licensure, DEA registration, and board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry; Texas driver license is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical licensure in the practicing state.
• Board certification in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice or Psychiatry.
• DEA registration and ability to schedule 2-5 codes.
• Eligibility for Medicaid/Medicare credentials.
• Texas licensure with active DEA and state approvals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient settings.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as indicated by assessment.
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care and referrals.
• Provide injections when needed; participate in APP supervision as applicable.
