Job summary

Total Recovery Physical Therapy in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a part-time acupuncturist for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 7 PM. You will work with a collaborative team of PTs, OTs, and other providers to deliver acupuncture and trigger point dry needling as part of integrated musculoskeletal care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Acupuncture License (or eligible for licensure).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pain-related conditions.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, trigger point dry needling.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.
• Team-first mentality within an integrated care model.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered acupuncture care with focus on outcomes.
• Work within an integrated care model alongside PTs and OTs to drive results.
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pain-related conditions.
• Apply traditional acupuncture and trigger point dry needling as needed.
• Collaborate to develop and execute comprehensive plans of care.
• Educate patients on condition, strategy, and long-term health goals.
• Track patient progress and ensure clinical effectiveness and improvement.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Contribute to a high-performance, team-first environment with accountability.
• Build strong patient relationships to support retention and referrals.
