Job summary

Mend Acupuncture in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist for a part-time, W-2 position across Canton, Remington and Quarry Lake clinics. You’ll provide safe, effective care with 60-minute new patient visits and 30-minute return visits, while the clinic handles scheduling, billing and operations.

Collaborate with a team of ~30 providers, access ongoing education and peer support, and grow toward a full-time role (28+ hours) with a base salary, paid vacation, 401(k) and a healthcare

Qualifications

Licensed Acupuncturist (Part-Time, W-2) - Mend Acupuncture, Baltimore, MD

Acupuncture is often out of reach for patients, and a stable career is often out of reach for acupuncturists. For almost 20 years, Mend has worked to change both. We accept insurance and run private and community clinics at three Baltimore locations (Canton, Remington, and Quarry Lake/Pikesville), and we give our providers a supported place to practice and grow. We're looking for a part-time acupuncturist who wants to be part of that work.

What you bring

• Provide safe, effective, individualized care in private and community settings: 60-minute new patient visits and 30-minute return visits, typically up to two patients per hour.
• Build clear treatment plans with patients and help them understand their care.
• Use cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and electroacupuncture when clinically appropriate.
• Chart accurately and on time, including diagnosis and procedure coding. Our AI scribe helps with this.
• Follow Clean Needle Technique, HIPAA, and all clinical and safety standards.
• Practice with the support of skilled colleagues and an engaged administrative and leadership team.

Requirments

• A current Maryland acupuncture license in good standing, or eligibility for one.
• Regular evening and weekend availability.

Schedule and pay

• Part-time W-2, under 28 hours/week
• Commission-based, averaging about $50 per billable clinical hour
• Paid sick time, eligible for partial holiday pay, malpractice reimbursement, and continuing education support
