Job summary

The Waters of Peru is seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to support our activity program for residents. You will assist the Activity Director, help transport residents, and perform light clerical tasks in accordance with policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities include helping lead group activities, preparing equipment, and maintaining equipment records while ensuring safety and engagement for residents during arts, crafts, and social events.

• Sensitivity to the needs of each resident or participant.

Responsibilities

• Aides assist the recreational activities leader or activities director, helping patients or participants use equipment and supplies.
• Prepares equipment and ensures the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
• Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
• Proper record keeping of equipment and its use.
• Assist in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
