American Senior Communities is seeking an Activity Assistant at East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart, IN. This part-time, on-site role focuses on enriching residents' lives with engaging activities and a caring presence.

You will work closely with the care team to foster an uplifting, respectful environment for seniors. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or related training) and completion of a State-approved CNA program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates CARE values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence.
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to engage residents.
• Provide a supportive presence and connect with residents to understand needs.
• Collaborate with care team to support residents holistically.
• Balance daily schedules, resident load, and activity prep effectively.
