Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to support a government location in Georgetown, DE. The role focuses on access control, credential verification, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents and deliver excellent customer service.

You will monitor entry points, respond to security concerns, and help ensure compliance with site procedures while supporting a dynamic, professional team environment.

Formación

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at a government location by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of government facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents and other security events.
