Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer at our Mobile, AL location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist with visitor management, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

This role offers a fixed night schedule Wed and Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, and opportunities to grow within a leading facility services company that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and community safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
