Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Westminster, CO to provide on-site protection at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will handle access control, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, verifying credentials, and documenting incidents and log entries.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to interact with clients and respond to concerns.
• Familiarity with access control procedures and badge systems.
• Alarm panel experience preferred to monitor and respond to alerts.
• CPR/First Aid certifications are advantageous for safety readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
