Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control Associate in York, PA to manage visitor entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide welcoming customer service. You will use computer systems to support secure access and respond to incidents while upholding our integrity and teamwork.

The role emphasizes access control, badge management, and alarm panel familiarity, with a schedule that includes day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

Experience with access control systems and badge management.
Customer service experience.
Comfortable using computers or tablets.
Alarm panel experience.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
Background check and drug screening required.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations.
Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns.
