Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Access Screening Security Officer in Verdi, NV to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support access procedures while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
