Job summary

Allied Universal in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer focused on Access Control. You will safeguard clients, manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes flexibility, a shift-based schedule, and the use of our digital tools to claim additional shifts and report security events. Prior security or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge management preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with location requirements and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report concerns.
