Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Badge Issuance) in Charleston, SC to safeguard clients across industries, including chemical/petrochemical sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and badge records while delivering professional service.

This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security and facility services company, with access to our Claim a Shift platform to select shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the facility; verify credentials and maintain records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, buildings, and perimeter areas.
• Prepare clear reports on visitor activity, access events, incidents, and conditions.
