Job summary

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part Time Academic Success Coach to support students from 1st to 12th grade through one-to-one instruction. The role offers a flexible schedule and excludes lesson planning or outside work.

The Homework Studio provides independent learning time with access to computers and a quiet workspace. You will oversee Homework Studio sessions and motivate students to stay engaged and complete tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area.
• Patience & empathy to support diverse learners.
• A genuine passion to share your subject with students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students in Homework Studio and motivate them to complete tasks.
• Teach students one-on-one, tailoring lessons to individual needs.
• Support executive function skills and study habits during supervised study time.

Part Time Academic Success Coach

$22-23/hour

With 27 campuses across the country, we create a personalized, nurturing learning environment where each student thrives.

The Homework Studio is independent learning time to supplement time spent in one-to-one instruction sessions where students have access to computers and a quiet work area. This supervised study lab offers the opportunity for students to complete coursework-related assignments, practice good study habits and build executive function skills, and/or sit for exams. The Homework Studio coach is responsible for overseeing students in Homework Studio and for motivating them to complete tasks.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics—anything that fuels your passion!)
• Patience & Empathy: You understand that every student learns differently, and you’re committed to supporting them every step of the way.
• A Heart for Teaching: A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
