Job summary

Heartland ABA in Emporia, KS seeks a Registered Behavior Therapist to deliver one-on-one ABA services to children with Autism in home and community settings. No experience is required; paid training is provided, with opportunities to learn on the job and gain hands-on experience.

Positions start part-time with the potential for flexible afternoon/evening hours. Successful candidates are reliable, patient, compassionate, and willing to complete the 40-hour RBT course to begin making a meaningful

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and be passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
