Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking a Behavioral Growth & Independence Specialist (RBT) in Knoxville, IA to deliver ABA services in clients’ homes or community locations. You will join a clinical team and help clients achieve independence through evidence-based interventions.

This part-time position welcomes a compassionate, patient individual who is dedicated to making a difference for children with autism and who holds or is pursuing RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Must have patience, compassion and a calm demeanor.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience or interest in working with children with autism welcome.
• RBT certification is required before working.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in homes or community settings.
• Implement skill-building and care plans under supervision.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and connect with families.
