Achievement Behavior Services is hiring compassionate ABA Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD. The part-time, in-person positions cover after-school and weekend shifts across Nassau County, NY, with multiple client locations in Hempstead, Great Neck, Williston Park, and other Nassau communities.

You will work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, under BCBA supervision,

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications include experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Education or coursework in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, education, social work, or a related field.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and adaptable.
  • Ability to travel consistently to the selected client’s location.
  • Additional qualifications or documentation as required by New York State.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in accordance with the client’s individualized treatment plan.
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Support the development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
  • Use appropriate reinforcement and behavioral redirection techniques.
  • Collect accurate data during each session.
  • Complete timely and detailed session notes.
  • Recognize and document changes in client behavior and progress.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Seek clinical guidance from the supervising BCBA when support is needed.
  • Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and arrive punctually for sessions.

Achievement Behavior Services is seeking compassionate and dependable ABA Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

This is a part-time, in-person position providing services in clients’ homes and community settings throughout Nassau County. We are currently hiring for several consistent after-school and weekend schedules.

  • 7-year-old male

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 4:30 PM–6:30 PM
