Job summary

Study Smart Tutors is seeking enthusiastic instructors, tutors, family facilitators, and educational consultants to support college and career access for first‑gen students in Norwalk, CA. The role focuses on tutoring in Math, Science, ELA/ELD, and History, with small and large group work and collaboration with our Education team.

We require a completed 4-year degree, value teaching or tutoring experience, and in-person availability.

Qualifications

• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In‑person availability is required.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math, Science, ELA, ELD, History.
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.

• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
