Harris Teeter in St. Simons Island, GA is seeking a warehouse associate who will take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. You will use product knowledge, teamwork, and strong communication to support store operations.

Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking products to Grocery Standards, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage while delivering friendly service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization who only speak English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS.

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.

REASONING ABILITY.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Complete Company's training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.
