Job summary

United Protective Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Part-Time Security Officer for Frisco Div 1, covering the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift with a 32-hour weekly expectation. The role includes access control, customer service, and visible security presence on site in Frisco, TX.

You’ll monitor entrances and CCTV, complete daily reports, and assist tenants and contractors while following post orders and site procedures. Opportunity to work up to 40 hours depending on coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or related experience is preferred.
• Able to work Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication, observational, and customer-service skills are essential.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills are required for electronic reporting, communication, and security applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property.
• Monitor and control access to the building and restricted areas.
• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Respond appropriately to security concerns, disturbances, alarms, and emergencies.
• Assist tenants, visitors, vendors, and contractors as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and required security documentation.
• Monitor CCTV, access-control systems, and other security equipment when applicable.
• Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or property damage.
• Follow all post orders, site procedures, and client-specific requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, property management, and other security personnel.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
