Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation is seeking a Part Time 2nd Shift Custodian to support after-school and evening cleaning duties. Working Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, you will help maintain safe, clean learning environments for students and staff.

Candidates should have experience with cleaning tasks, take pride in their work, and be self-motivated. Duties include securing the building, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms and offices, and assisting

• Knowledge of fundamental tools, materials and practices of custodial work.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to describe orally or in writing cleaning, maintenance or repair problems as needed.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work.
• Ability to perform work according to standard procedures and schedule set forth by supervisor(s).

Responsabilidades

• Checks and secures building at the end of shift for the purpose of ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of building according to school district standards.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds.
• Cleans windows, doors, and sills.
• Cleans glass areas.
• Reports any maintenance issues to supervisor(s).
• Sets up and breaks down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and functional rooms.
• Empties wastebaskets; picks up and removes trash.

Qualifications Profile

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

• High School Diploma
• Successful experience in building and cleaning maintenance.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation.
