Job summary

Simon & Schuster in Riverside, NJ is seeking a 1st Shift Part-time Warehouse Associate to maintain workflow of cartons in the Case Seal department and support distribution operations.

Duties include inspecting cartons, preventing backups on the conveyor line, running the split-case back wall conveyor line, and performing other duties as assigned. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM; location Riverside, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to meet workplace demands and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff and achieve daily goals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough workflow of cartons through the case seal department.
• Inspect cartons for quality and accuracy.
• Prevent back ups on the conveyor line.
• Run split-case back wall conveyor line.
• Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
