York Suburban School District is seeking a dedicated 1-on-1 Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a student in our Marching Band program. This part-time role provides individualized support during rehearsals, competitions, and events to ensure safety and assist with mobility and personal care.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional competency options include: 48 college credits, PDE Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate, CAPE test, or district-approved path.
• Background checks valid within 12 months: PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Criminal History.
• Experience with students with disabilities or musical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1-on-1 support during rehearsals, performances, and events.
• Ensure student safety, mobility, and personal care needs are met.
• Flexible part-time schedule after school or evenings based on student participation.
