Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance and customer service excellence. As a Parts Sales Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team, drive sales targets, oversee inventory and merchandising, and ensure WOW! Customer Service while executing store operations with excellence.

Under guidance from the Store Manager, you will model initiative and strong leadership, support commercial accounts, and promote safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Leadership abilities and strong decision-making.
  • Experience in managing teams in retail or automotive sectors preferred.
  • Excellent communication with customers and staff; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and inventory control.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Ability to adapt to a full-time, flexible schedule including mornings/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing high-performing employees.
  • Maintain clear, effective communication with customers and staff.
  • Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
  • Follow structured store procedures; manage inventory, cash handling, shrink, and efficiency.
  • Lead teamwork with store staff and department leaders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive sales and optimize inventory, handle returns, and maintain merchandising quality.
  • Enforce PPE use and promote risk management and safety standards.
  • Support commercial accounts and hub departments to meet deliveries and customer needs.
  • Resolve customer concerns and store issues promptly and in line with policies.

  • Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
  • Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
  • Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
  • Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, always upholding company policies.
