Job summary

LCECP is seeking a caring Program Aide to support daily classroom activities, guide exploration, provide healthy meals and snacks, and encourage learning through play.

The Program Aide will greet children and families, serve meals, keep areas clean, assist teachers with play, and pursue additional training as needed. Hours vary by location: 28 hours a week across 33 weeks per year; benefits include advancement opportunities, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
• Willingness to pursue additional education as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting children and families with a smile and a positive attitude.
• Serving breakfast/snack and lunch – including picking up of the meals from the kitchen.
• Cleaning the meal areas after meals and maintaining a clean classroom.
• Under direction from the teacher, participate in play activities.

Education

Program Aide

Everyday children are guided through exploration and learning activities, they are provided with healthy meals and snacks and they are encouraged to learn through play. LCECP is seeking a caring person, who enjoys working with children for our Program Aide.

Our Program Aide serve a valuable role at LCECP, by supporting all the fun, learning and growing that happens in the classroom. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children’s lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job.

The Program Aide will be responsible for:

Hours will vary by location, but the hours are 28 hours a week/33 week a year (school year).
