Job summary

City of Peoria is seeking a Parks Maintenance position to perform general upkeep of city parks and sports facilities. The role focuses on mowing, landscaping, irrigation, and turf maintenance across baseball fields and related areas.

The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team. The job may require on-call shifts evenings, holidays, and weekends as workload demands.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nine to twelve months of related experience.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License at hire.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work (lifting 25-50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance and repair to City parks and sports facilities.
• Perform duties such as mowing, landscaping, irrigation, and turf maintenance of baseball fields and sports facilities.
• May participate in rotation for On-Call After-Hours support including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
