Job summary

City of Prescott is seeking a Parks Maintenance Worker within Recreation Services. This full-time temporary role performs grounds and facilities maintenance, janitorial tasks, trash pickup, weeding, raking, painting, and event prep under supervision.

The incumbent will work outdoors in all weather, must be 17+ with a valid Arizona driver's license, and may require evenings, weekends or holidays for events. Overtime eligibility applies.

Position Summary

Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks including maintenance of all park facilities, janitorial duties, restroom cleaning is a must, trash pickup, weeding, raking, painting, and special events preparation and other duties as required. Incumbents receive general supervision from a Lead Maintenance Technician, Coordinator or Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 17 years old at the time of hire and possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Must be able to perform physical work outdoors under all weather conditions. Evening, weekend and holiday work may be required depending on special events.
