Job summary

The Town of Pecos City seeks a versatile Park Maintenance Worker to perform tasks in parks, open spaces and facilities. You will operate lawn, irrigation and basic maintenance equipment, ensuring safe, efficient grounds upkeep.

Responsibilities include weed control, mowing, cleaning restrooms and facilities, and assisting with setup for community events. CDL preferred, high school diploma required, Texas license required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in building and grounds maintenance.
• Basic understanding of minor repairs across trades ( carpentry, plumbing, electrical ).
• Duties require coordination of daily work routine, either independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parks and open spaces by weed removal and mowing.
• Install, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems and irrigation heads.
• Perform routine maintenance on lawn and power equipment.
