Job summary

City of Milton is seeking a full-time Custodian to keep City buildings clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll clean offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas, perform light maintenance, and assist with event setup under supervision of the Parks and Recreation Director.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of custodial practices, cleaning materials, and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to plan daily tasks efficiently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, lobbies, and meeting rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; clean carpets as needed.
• Empty trash, maintain breakareas, and sanitize surfaces.
• Perform light maintenance and report repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with setup for events and activities as needed.
