Job summary

City of Webster, Texas, Public Works Department seeks a reliable Equipment Operator. The primary duty is to support the Parks Maintenance Crew by operating excavation equipment, tractors, boom mower, field groomer, trencher, and other equipment to enhance beautification and park functionality.

This position provides direction to other employees. Minimum qualifications include at least one year of relevant experience; Texas CDL driver's license and Equipment Operator Certification are required;

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years preferred.
• Valid Texas CDL and Equipment Operator Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavation equipment, tractors, boom mower, trencher, and related gear to support Parks Maintenance.
• Direct and assist colleagues as needed to complete tasks.
