Responsibilities

• Take inventory of station pay boxes, collecting and recording cash or cash equivalents
• Inventory the parking lot, record and credit vehicles for payments received and note permits
• Issue parking violation and parking owed notices
• Perform data entry using electronic devices
• Clear trash and debris from stations and report maintenance needs
• Clean up hazards such as potholes and missing signage
• Inspect and verify location signage and rates
• Protect company property and equipment from damage or loss
• Report vehicles meeting impound criteria to supervisor
• Deposit all monies or cash equivalents with documentation
• Provide own transportation including fuel, maintenance and insurance
• Provide a positive customer service experience
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form
• Wear uniform and display ID badge as required

Parking Lot Checker: Part-Time Opportunity in Bellingham! S473

Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is looking for a parking lot attendant to add to a long-standing, multinational company that provides parking solutions for companies and customers. This would be a long-term opportunity and the right fit for someone confident, has strong communication skills, and can work well independently.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible Monday through Sunday ( Days, Swing, and Evening)
Location: Bellingham, WA

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Take inventory of station pay boxes, collecting and recording all cash or cash equivalents
• Accurately inventory the parking lot, recording, and crediting vehicles for payments received, and noting vehicles displaying valid permits
• Issue parking violation and parking owed notices to vehicles
• Data entry, using electronic devices
• Clear trash and debris from each station throughout the shift, reporting any maintenance or additional
• Clean up required, such as potholes, missing or broken signage, or other hazards
• Inspect and verify location signage and rates
• Protect company property and/or equipment from damage or loss
• Report any vehicles meeting impound criteria to the supervisor
• Properly deposit in the designated bank all monies or cash equivalents and accompanying documentation
• Provide own transportation, including, but not limited to, fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance
• Basic data entry skills
• Provide a positive customer service experience
• Clear and concise communication skills, including verbal and written correspondence
• While on the job, wear the designated uniform, if required, and display an identification badge
