Job summary

Diamond Parking Service in Hawaii is seeking a Parking Lot Checker to ensure accurate cash handling, auditing parking activity, and proper documentation across assigned lots. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, basic math skills, and a valid driver's license with insurance; occasional travel to multiple locations may be needed.

You will maintain lot cleanliness, report hazards, and complete incident reports while upholding safety and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions; communicate effectively in one-on-one and small groups.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling and reconciling currency.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional customer service with customers, vendors, coworkers and managers.
• Accurately inventory pay boxes, collect and secure funds, and deposit according to protocol; complete shift reports.
• Check lot for valid payments/permits and issue parking notices when applicable; patrol for theft prevention.
• Clear trash/debris, inspect signage/rates, and report hazards such as potholes or broken signs.
• May perform data entry and submit incident reports and documentation for each shift.
