Department

Parking and Transportation Services within the Division of Administration and Finance provides access to the campus through alternative commute options and parking programs that mitigate traffic congestion and improve air quality through the reduction of mobile source emissions. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Parking Event Services Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Exempt I). Duties and Responsibilities

The Parking Event Services Analyst serves as the program administrator for parking event services, independently performing the full range of administrative, analytical, and operational duties that support Parking and Transportation Services. Applies thorough knowledge of parking policies, collective bargaining agreement provisions, and campus regulations to evaluate event requests, develop sound recommendations, and make decisions that advance student success and institutional goals.

The Parking Event Services Analyst conducts program and policy research, develops Standard Operating Procedures, and recommends improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness. Serves as the primary liaison to campus stakeholders and represents Parking and Transportation Services in cross-departmental coordination involving Risk Management, Facilities Use Administration, and other campus entities.

The Parking Event Services Analyst administers the event parking services program, including fiscal reconciliation, recharge processing, and statistical reporting. Manages event signage inventory, oversees parking event technology platforms, and ensures accurate, timely data across Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, T2 Flex, the department events calendar, and other technology platforms. Provides lead work direction to parking event student assistants and responsible for hiring, training, supervision, and time reconciliation. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs plus two years of related experience.

Working knowledge of and the ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, techniques applicable to the program or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved. Skilled in research, development, and evaluation of policies and programs. Ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. Expertise investigating and analyzing problems with broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to complete the background check satisfactorily may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of CSU Fullerton’s policies and procedures, governing parking rules and regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Two plus years of parking event coordination experience.

License/Certifications

A valid California driver’s license.
