Job summary

Purdue University is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to patrol campus, enforce parking rules, and use License Plate Recognition equipment. The role involves issuing citations with a handheld device, arranging for towing, and applying immobilization devices when needed.

You will guide visitors around campus and help with garage equipment issues on a day-to-day basis. The position requires outdoor work in all seasons, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with sound

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience Required

• Requires a High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
• Valid driver’s license is required and must maintain a safe driving record

Skills Required

• Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees
• Good verbal communication skills required
• Ability to:
  • use sound judgement and work independently
  • use, maintain, troubleshoot and correct equipment

Preferred

• Knowledge of campus
