Job summary

Reimagined Parking near the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a Parking Event Attendant (Part Time) to help manage events at 145 Smith Ave N with flexible shifts. Hourly pay is $16.48, and the role supports day-to-day parking operations for guests and clients.

The Lot Attendant greets guests, issues tickets, counts vehicles, and ensures safety and cleanliness. The position requires 18+, background check, and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to verbally communicate with guests.
• Previous customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Act as traffic controller to direct incoming guests to available parking spaces.
• Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure garage does not over fill available spaces.
• Ensure vehicles are parked according to lot layout, spacing, and site instructions
• Distribute parking validation instructions or signage information when applicable
• Adjust cones, barriers, and directional signage as needed
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
• Monitor pedestrian crossings and ensure safe vehicle-pedestrian interaction
• Provide assistance to guests who have forgotten where they parked.
• Pick up litter, debris, or objects that could damage vehicles or cause hazards
• Assist with seasonal tasks (rain prep, heat precautions, storm readiness)
• Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as necessary.
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
• Follow established safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
