Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking a Seasonal Parking Lot Attendant in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will assist guests with parking, direct traffic, and help unload/load ski equipment while providing outstanding service in all weather conditions.

As an ambassador for MMSA, you’ll deliver a friendly, efficient experience, with the perk of free season ski passes for dependents and other discounts at Alterra Resorts. This role is on-site and outdoors, with competitive hourly pay and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Guest service experience is required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with parking, traffic direction and daily setup of MMSA parking lots.
• Direct guests to available parking
• Direct vehicle traffic flow
• Assist with traffic flow and cross walks
• Help guests unload/load ski equipment
• Assist guests with jump-starting and/or shoveling
• Create a welcoming first and last impression as MMSA ambassadors.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $21.47

A Little About This Position

• Assists guests with parking, traffic direction and the daily set up of MMSA parking lots.
• Direct guests to appropriate parking availability.
• Direct vehicle traffic flow.
• Assist with traffic flow and cross walks.
• Assist guests with unloading and loading of ski equipment.
• Assist guests with jump-starting and/or shoveling.
• As our ambassadors, attendants in our Parking Lot create favorable and lasting First Impressions as well as Last Impressions!

Requirements

• Must have fewer than 4 points on DMV record.
• Guest service experience required.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to perform cheerfully outdoors in all weather conditions.
• This is a HIGH visibility position, requiring a confident and outgoing individual with outstanding verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
