Job summary

Legends Global-Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC is seeking Parking Attendants to help direct traffic and assist guests during events. You will read event notes and adjust traffic patterns as needed.

Responsibilities include guiding vehicles to appropriate lots, helping patrons with information, monitoring parking areas, and supporting parking supervisors in all weather conditions. Applicants must be 18+ and able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Positive, outgoing attitude with good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand event notes prior to each event.
• Direct vehicles to appropriate areas/lots based on pass or status.
• Assist patrons with general venue/event information in a friendly manner.
• Monitor parking areas for fill status and security concerns.
• Assist parking supervisors and venue staff as requested.
• Arrive prepared for work based on the event and weather.
• Other duties as assigned.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre Cary, NCPOSITION: Parking AttendantDEPARTMENT: Operations/ParkingREPORTS TO: Parking ManagerHOURLY Rate: $15.50Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has openings for Parking Attendants at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for its season. The Parking Attendant will be primarily responsible for assisting the directional flow of all incoming and exiting traffic in Koka Booth Amphitheatre’s internal parking spaces at scheduled events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and understand event notes prior to each eventAssist in setting up, breaking down and altering traffic patterns as neededDirect vehicles to appropriate areas/lots based on pass, permit, or status (stage crew, venue guest, etc.)Assist patrons with general venue/event information in a positive and friendly mannerMonitor parking areas for fill status, vandalism, etc.Assist parking supervisors, Town of Cary staff and/or other venue employees as requested by supervisorsArrive prepared for work based on the event, weather forecast and department/venue policiesOther duties may be assignedQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
