Job summary

ABM Industries in Nashville is seeking a Parking Ambassador to lead a team in delivering professional, courteous valet services to guests at our outdoor lot. You will coordinate traffic flow, communicate procedures, assist guests, handle keys and payments, and ensure safety and cleanliness while maintaining a positive guest experience in all weather.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and can operate both manual and automatic transmissions; previous customer service

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic flow
• Communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly with guests.
• Understand and respond to basic customer and team inquiries.
• Monitor illegal parking and promptly store vehicles.
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading.
• Collect and secure guest keys.
• Predict and communicate peak traffic and lot issues.
• Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times.
• Accurately tally and split the tip pool.
• Receive and process a variety of valet payments.
• Reconcile and report daily revenue.
• Project currency and coin requirements and reorder as necessary.
• Operate, park and retrieve vehicles safely while obeying traffic laws and policies.
• Work outdoors in all climates for extended periods.
• Keep work area clean of debris.

• Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
• Project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary.
• Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, Facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations.
• Work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
• Keep work area clean of debris.
