The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Southeast Region, Office of the Superintendent in New Orleans, LA, seeks a Park Manager (Superintendent) for a temporary promotion not to exceed one year with potential extension to five years.

At the full performance level (GS-15) you will supervise and lead park operations, manage finances and resources, and advance natural and cultural stewardship.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or national.
• Background investigation required.
• Selective Service registration for males born after 12-31-1959.
• Valid driver's license; uniform and uniform allowance provided.
• Willingness to complete training and obtain a government travel card.

Responsabilités

• Perform supervisory/managerial duties and leadership for park operations.
• Manage financial and property resources for the park units.
• Oversee natural and cultural resource management and stewardship.
• Lead civic engagement and public affairs, enhancing visitor experience.
