Job summary

Carowinds in Charlotte, NC seeks a Team Lead or Supervisor to help maintain a safe, clean environment for guests. You will supervise team members, coach and motivate staff, and coordinate daily operations across grounds, restrooms, and attraction areas.

This role emphasizes guest assistance, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to train, lead by example, and contribute to a fun park experience. Availability includes some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, and employees receive park

Qualifications

• Ability to complete Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training Program requirements (first aid, CPR, water skills, spinal injury management).
• People who love helping others and will support guests and associates.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Positions are available for those 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Team Members to deliver friendly guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including grounds and restrooms.
• Lead teams sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure proper servicing.
• Provide directions and park information to guests as needed.
• Assist with training and motivating staff to uphold core values.

At Carowinds, work is FUN! As an essential part of our Park Services team, you will be responsible for proactively maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests. Responsibilities include managing team members, maintaining the cleanliness of grounds and restrooms, handling trash disposal, assisting guests, and providing directions and park information as needed in a friendly and helpful manner. You'll also:

• Take pride in the cleanliness and safety of your assigned area
• Provide supervision, training, coaching, and motivation of Team Members
• Create a positive work environment through motivation and interaction with all Team Members
• Lead teams responsible for sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas
• Oversee the general maintenance of all equipment to ensure that all property is properly serviced and maintained
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
