Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol park and parking areas, operate metal detectors, and enforce park policies. You’ll protect guests, team members, and property while gaining valuable security experience and benefits.

Responsibilities include directing guests, monitoring access, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and maintaining order during busy periods. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift, carry, and stand for long periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests, provide directions and assistance
• Protect employees, guests, and property
• Control park access, check vehicle permits and scan IDs
• Patrol and inspect assigned park areas
• Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
• Screen entering guests with metal detectors and bags
• Respond to alarms, first aid, and emergencies
• Monitor safety hazards such as fire, theft, and vandalism
• Maintain ride queue lines and manage line jumpers
• Write reports of damage, incidents, logs
• Apprehend violators as needed
• Escort guests and team members when required
• Enforce Six Flags New England policies
• Assist in other Security Department areas
• Perform incidental duties as assigned
